The cost to purchase the plate includes a $50 fee for a Group Special Use License Plate, a $30 donation to the Pet Overpopulation Fund to benefit homeless animals in Colorado shelters and rescues, plus customary license plate renewal fees.
Yesterday we received news from a friend regarding an HORRIFIC accident she witnessed: a dog got loose from her prong collar, dashed to the street and was hit by a car, dying from her injuries.

Temperatures have raised to 60F and it almost feels like summer
Aaahhh… Fun in the pool with the dogs – I really miss the cool water plus warm weather. Summer can’t come fast enough! And here, from the archive, some playful dogs I met at the pool last year.
The snow has finally arrived! Just a couple of inches so far, but with 14F it is surely cold and also the best opportunity to try Cheyenne’s brand new coat! Sunnie Fanelli from The Green Claws & Paws ordered it for us, and it came just before this freezing weather rolled in, whew… It is the Ruffwear Cloud Chaser, and Cheyenne LOVES it. Took some photographs out in the front yard, just for the fun of it. Enjoy!
